Create ABL Client

As a user or administrator, you can create new ABL clients.

In the Create ABL Client page, the Affiliate Lender field will display as a non-mandatory field when AFFILIATE_LENDER_REQUIRED is selected as "No"  on the System Parameters page for all the borrowers of the lender. This is based on the system parameter settings. For more information, refer Affiliate Lender required section on the System Parameters page.


To create a new ABL client, perform these steps:

1. Go to Client Maintenance → New Client → Create ABL Client.  Client Information page appears.

2. Enter the field descriptions as per the field details mentioned in the below table.

3. Click the   button to save the new ABL client.

4. Click the  button to cancel the client creation.

Client Template

Allows the user to select the client template from the drop-down list.

Client Name

Enter the full name of the client or borrower.

Short Name

Enter a short name (maximum 7 characters) for the client which will be used when displaying charts & graphs.  

Client Number

Enter the code (maximum 10 characters) that will be used as an identifier for data mappings.

BBC Frequency

Select the BBC frequency from the drop-down. Based on the selected frequency, the system automatically calculate the next BBC date.

Refer to Basic Client Details page for detailed information related to BBC frequency.

Starting BBC Date

Enter the date that you plan to generate your first BBC.

Period

Select the period from drop-down; First or Last. Based on the option selected, the system generates BBCs at the start or end of the month. The field applicable only if the selected  BBC Frequency of ‘Monthly’.

Day

Select a day from drop-down.. Based on the option selected, the system generates BBCs. The field applicable only if the selected  BBC Frequency of ‘Monthly’.

Currency

Select from the drop down menu the currency to be used for all the client transactions. 

Note: The system default is USD.

NAICS Code

Type the name or code of the industry to which the client belongs  Cync will return a list of NAICS Codes which you can select from.  If you can’t find an appropriate code then use this link (http://www.naics.com/search/), or else search on Google for the best match.

Parent Client

If you would like to link this client to a parent company, then select the parent from the drop down menu.

E-mail

Enter the client’s email address.

Descriptions

Allows you to enter any free-from text about the client you are setting up.

Website

Enter the URL for the client’s Website.

Account Reference

This is a free-form text field you may use at your discretion to enter any data you wish.

Affiliate Lender

Allows the user to select the Affiliate Lender name from the drop-down list.

Processing Type

Since you are setting up an ABL client, this field will be automatically filled out for you.  No action is needed.

Sales Region

Allows the user to select the sales region from drop-down menu.

This field is used to associate this specific sales region to the client which is being created.

Manager*

Check the box against the name of the persons that is/are allowed to view or manage information for this client. 

This field displays the list of users (having Portfolio Managers & Collateral Analyst roles only) based on the selection of sales region.

  1. When the Sales region is selected in the Sales Region field, then the system displays the list of managers as follows in the Manager field. 
    1. Displays all users (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst roles) that are associated with the selected sales region; and Displays the users (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst roles) that are not associated with any sales region.
    2. Displays only users (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst roles) that are not associated with any sales region if no user (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst roles) is associated with the selected sales region.
    3. Displays Blank Managers list if no user (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst roles) is associated with the selected sales region AND there are no users (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst roles) with no sales region/ NULL sales region.
  2. When no sales region is selected in the Sales Region field: 
    1. The system displays all users (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral analyst role) in the Manager field drop-down if all users (Portfolio Manager and Collateral analyst role) have sales region including null value.
    2. The system displays all users (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral analyst role) which have a null value in the Manager field drop-down if all users (with portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst role) have a null value and the other users are associated with selected sales region.
  3. When the selected sales region is associated with other users (except Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst role):
    1. The system displays all users (with Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst role) having null value if all users (Portfolio manager and collateral analyst role) have a null value and other users (except Portfolio Manager and Collateral Analyst role) are associated with selected sales region.

Primary Manager

Allows the user to select the primary manager name for this client from the drop-down list.

Original Amount

Enter the original amount of the loan for this client.

Current Balance

It displays the outstanding loan balance of the borrower.

Credit Line

Displays the maximum credit limit applied to the borrower.

Expiration Date

Enter the date when the loan terms will expire

Minimum Balance Amount

Enter the minimum balance that Cync should use to calculate fees. Example: Minimum Balance Amount is set to $500,000. If the loan balance is greater than $500,000 then Cync calculates all fees on the higher loan balance. However, if the loan balance drops below $500,000 then Cync will calculate the fees against the minimum balance set of $500,000.

Cash Controls

Select the appropriate type of cash control from the dropdown list which ever type of cash control type is selected will go into the "Cash Monitoring" field in all three management reports.

Risk Rating Code

Enter the risk rating code the code consists of an alphanumeric combination
risk rating code will be displayed in all 3 types of management report.

Company Type

Select the appropriate response from the dropdown menu.

Origination Date

Enter the date on which the loan documents were signed by the authorized signatory.

Country

Select from the drop down menu the country of the client’s address.

Note: The system’s default is the United States.

State Province

Select from the dropdown menu the state or province of the client’s address.

Tax ID

Enter the tax ID of the client if known.

Term

Enter the term of the loan.

Branch

Enter the branch name of the bank if applicable.

Cost Center 

Select the cost center from the drop-down menu. This is a user-defined field. 

Officer Select the officer from the dropdown. This is a user-defined field.
Division Select the division from the dropdown. This is a user-defined field.
Department Select the department name from the dropdown. This is a user-defined field.
Lending Group Select the lending group name from the dropdown. This is a user-defined field.
Portfolio Manager Select the portfolio manager's name from the dropdown. This is a user-defined field.


If a user changes the Affiliate Lender name for the specific client, the updated affiliate lender name should also get reflected in the Affiliate Lender column under the Client Summary page. 

When a user inputs values in the UDF field while creating a new ABL client in the Create ABL Client page, the system logs those entries in Audit Logs page.
